'Remember me' Up Nearly 10%

Rounding out the top twelve were the Martin Scorsese-Leonardo DiCaprio suspense drama Shutter Island ($340K, +0.7%), James Cameron’s Avatar ($231K, -4.9%), America Ferrera’s Our Family Wedding ($224K, +4.6%), and Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me ($223K, +8.2%).
The highest per-screen average among the top twelve was once again that of How to Train Your Dragon ($1,184); the lowest belonged to Remember Me ($116).

On the positive side, Remember Me posted the second-highest daily gain, (8.2%) right behind The Bounty Hunter (8.7%). In fact, Pattinson’s romantic drama was only a notch below both Avatar and Our Family Wedding. Some movies fluctuate wildly from day to day — Remember Me is one of them.

Even so, considering its low per-screen average, Remember Me should be shedding a number of screens later this week.
