“Remember Me” Now Doing Better Than ‘5 Other Meaningful Independent Films'

On Rob Pattinson’s board in early April, we discussed how RM was faring, and wanted to compare to other “meaningful” films of similar genre.
I asked indie movie film critic @larry411 on 4/5 if there were any meaningful independent movies released in 2010 that performed as well as Remember Me” in US BO$. He responded that the following five films (see below) earned more than Remember Me in US Box Office (again as of early April 2010).

I revisited how Remember Me has fared compared to these five movies…..
…..look how well RM has done since we looked at this before!

I looked at the movies’ performance for domestic AND international this time (as there is now more international box office for Remember Me…) Remember Me now has earned more than all but two of these films, and will shortly surpass one of them, leaving only the Tyler Perry movie earning more!!

• The Crazies, (worldwide $43,862,458)
• Tyler Perry (domestic info. only $54,801,812)
• Daybreakers, (worldwide $47,839,461)
• Brooklyn’s Finest, (worldwide $27,111,719)
• The Spy Next Door, (worldwide $34,792,761)
• From Paris with Love (worldwide $41,161,784)

Remember Me (worldwide $46,609,135)
