RUMOR:Rob to replace Bruce Willis in Die Hard remake?

Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson is rumored to be in talks to star in a remake of the classic 1988 Bruce Willis action flick Die Hard, which spawned numerous sequels and went on to become one of the most successful feature film franchises in movie history.

Bruce Willis, who starred with Alan Rickman and Bonnie Bedelia in the original, told reporters after his last Die Hard sequel - 2007's Live Free or Die Hard - that he was getting close to retiring John McClane, who battled an Internet-based terrorist organization in the last flick to perpetuate the franchise.

    Much as I love Rob, he couldn't fill Bruce's shoes as John McClane, he is no macho man. I think if anyone should take the part it is Jason Statham (he should have been James Bond). He would be perfect for the role.

    Rob is an actor and getting better at his craft. He could pay anyone. Movies are magical anyway and whether he is macho enough or not, it would appear on the screen that he is. His body double could do the rough stuff if need be.
